Here we go again!

Off to market and we will have so many fun and exciting things to tell you about. You never know who we’ll see either.
April of The Added Touch and I always like to go to a Mexican restaurant there in Dallas. Not only do we like it, we are always on board when something is on sale. Well, on that particular Wednesday the restaurant advertised “Half Priced Fajitas.” Half-priced–I am on board for that.

So, I asked the server if they were good and she said they were great. So I ordered them as well as April ordered an entree for herself. The server did seem a little puzzled when I asked if there would be enough for us to share with each other. She looked puzzled and said, “Yes, you will probably have a lot left over. Great! I thought. We’ll save what’s left and put them in the room refrigerator. We never know what kind of food we’ll find at market. So we’ll eat them if we don’t find anything good to eat at market.

So a while later, the server brought this huge tray of fajitas and April’s entree. She commented that she didn’t know if she was going to have enough room on the table for all the food. We were flabbergasted at the amount of food.

So we enjoyed the delicious food, but when the bill came I was flabbergasted again. $32. For half-priced fajitas? That was half-priced? So when I asked the server if that amount was correct, she said “yes, it was half-priced fajitas for 4.” I didn’t see that little detail.

Oh well, live and learn. I’ll look closer the next time. But, they were really good!!!! But we didn’t eat them in the room at any time. Too, much good food at market!

Also, I am giving you another chance to sign up for another class time for the floral design class we are having. This will be exactly like the one I told you about in the last email. Except, it will be on a different afternoon. February 15, Wednesday, will be the date and the hours will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 or 3ish. (Depending on if you are fast learners or not.) Of course the class will involve you creating your own beautiful spring floral as well as having individual attention while creating the piece. And of course we cover bow tying, design shapes, what elements comprise a beautiful arrangement, and on and on. Hope this time works for all of you who tried to sign up and it was already full.

The cost is $35 for the class and $40 for the materials to create your own arrangement. Please register HERE. The deadline is February 1.

We’re off and running this day. So must let you get back to your work. Don’t forget to sign up for the class before this one fills up.
