Hello, all you lovely ladies. I wanted to start this post with a thank you to all of the wonderful moms and daughters who came out for our Mother’s Day Event. You are all so lovely. I hope you enjoyed the huge chocolate covered strawberries. You all are so much fun to cook for!
Speaking of cooking, I wanted to share with you a delicious recipe I found on a blog. It is one I read all the time because they are very short and she shares just some wonderful down to earth information. It’s from NoraMurphyCountryHouse.com. I think she must have shared her brother’s pickle recipe.
I love it for the taste as well as how it makes me feel after I make them. I felt so domestic. I can remember my husband’s grandmother making some so very similar to these. I love it that my kids think it is so special after I make these. Not because they like sweet pickles, but the nostalgia it evokes.
And these are just so summer (ish). So I thought I would give this to you for your Memorial Day picnics.
